Silent as she was, nothing could quiet the beating of her heart as she followed Ash down the corridor. As she paused behind him, she could only eye the rope that now dangled before her, feeling the delicate whisper of her consciousness imploring her to return to the safety of her room... But she could not.
As he kissed her once more, her worries drowned within its heat. No... perhaps this was more, much more complex than simple driven desire. She breathed quietly, his lips leaving her and his sweet saline taste lingering on her tongue.
She tensed momentarilly as he brought the rope about her. It was taut but not unkind against the smalls of her wrist, brushing against her skin and inciting a nervous yet intoxicating hunger. She almost hesitated, but then the words slid off her tongue as though she had said it a thousand times before, with humbled understanding... though she did not.
"I do."
