Server Issues, Etc

Hi,

I am still having a problem with log-in. I cannot access my account by just logging in. i now have to "log-in" and get the message you are not registered here Then i click on one of the options, such as forums, and it shows me logged-in.. Please help..

Is the forum down, or having problems? I can surf, and post this, but if I click on my profile, or try to enter the chatroom, I get a Database Error:Thiis page cannot be displayed" message. I dont know if anyone knew about this problem, and just wanted to post, to aware the admins, in case they weren't aware of this current issue.

Patience not an issue. Just wanted to know that you guys are aware of it. Just glad to be able to get in this far to see that are, which I didn't know earlier in the last two days.

What's weird is that I've gotten a couple of PMs from people, but cant access my box. Its weird how they can send me things, but I cant access it.

Another thing: yesterday the site seemed unreachable for a while. After I got back on, I saw that when clicking a story title, the story index (where you can see the chapters and the 'review' button) was showing-up with the HTML code visible.

Since 11PM GMT+1, that is solved, but now there's no reviews visible. Stories that have reviews still show the amount of reviews and their score, but the replies have all vanished.

Furthermore, the top menu seems not to be working on some pages, and the shelf options on the right of a story are gone.

just wanted to say 'Thanks' to all the admins/mods working on the problem.

This glitch has made me realize that not only do I have WAAAAY too much time on my hands (to keep going in to see 'is it fixed yet, is it fixed yet'?) and I am still okay with that. sad really, but certainly says something about the site, yes?

Will be interesting to see what actually caused the 'glitch', but until then thanks to everyone working on it for us so we can continue to use the site.

Your efforts are much appreciated.

I've posted several stories but today I filled in all the required fields and when I click on "send the story" it gives an error, saying I have to provide at least the title and a description. Those fields, however, are filled in.
Has there been a recent change?

As you may remember, I am having recurring problems doing things on this site. The most recent (meaning current) problem is that I cannot read reviews. When I hit the 'review it' button for a story it takes me to the normal review page, but there are no reviews on the page. There is a summary of the number of reviews and what the numerical scores are at the top, and an invitation for me to review (or sometimes to be the first reviewer), but no actual reviews to read.

I haven't tried reviewing since this started (to see if I can read my own), but this should be enough of a problem for you to work on.

Again, just so y'all know... features will go up & down as the issues with the site are being fixed--this isn't a science, it's an art. So you may have something up one minute & not the next--please make sure you cntl+c your long posts before you post them (same w/PMs) so that IF the site "doesn't work right" when you post, you can cntl+v (paste) them into a Word doc (or similar program) and save them till you are able to post.

And... contrary to popular belief... T & I don't sit 24/7 in front of a bank of plasma screens with little headsets on while we drink Mtn Dew and Red Bull and munch on Hot Pockets & candy while we decide what to play with on the site today... So yes, we're working on the issues, but like always, they will take some time & experimenting to fix...
