Still having a problem uploading an attachment.... jpg specifically.

Checked the size... tried several sizes. (3)

Loaded as a profile picture no problem, just the Manage Attachment method, failing after pressing the Upload button.

Still had it today. Those pics uploaded to other sites, including photobucket, no problem.

Also tried, from the Manage Attachment page, to upload from the web, i.e., photobucket (upload, not hotlink) and it failed from there as well.

Ozme52,I am meeting with the same difficulty in uploading .jpg files,I keep getting "upload failed" as an error code,even with the smallest .jpg images.

Just tried to upload again a few mintes ago,Torq.I tried one small jpeg file and it gave the same Upload Error:"Upload of file failed". LOL,here I was thinking there was some sort of filter blocking my Vintage images from being uploaded.But alas several members are having the same error with other images.

Ok, folks, we've narrowed down the possibilities as to where the problem lies with the attachment issue... We are assuming the problem is coming when you're posting into Photo Library. If it's a problem elsewhere & NOT there, let us know. the new issue is that it might take a week or two, since the problem isn't just a simple box that needs to be checked in the Panel (which is, oddly enough, sometimes the problem)...

T's aware of the issue now, so he'll work on it and post back when it's fixed.

Could be delia. Timing is different but the photo uploaded elsewhere (and deleted before it was approved... if you remember) and then I 'decided' a week later to put it in the self-portrait section... and that's where the failure occurs.
